Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day

On February 25th, 2009, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Canada, His Excellency Dr. Musaed Al-Haroun, and his wife, Dr Fatma Al-khalifa, hosted a reception at the National Gallery of Canada, marking the 48th Independence Day and the 18th anniversary of the Liberation of Kuwait.
On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the government and the people of Kuwait.
The Ambassador received heartfelt congratulations from the representatives of the Canadian government, parliamentarians, academics, ambassadors and diplomats.
Dr. Al-Haroun shares his aspirations with Canadian officials to further boost Kuwaiti-Canadian relations on strong basis of mutual respect, cooperation, and serving the interests of both sides on political, parliamentary, economic, cultural and popular levels.
