THE EMBASSY OF THE STATE OF KUWAIT PARTICIPATES IN A FUNDRAISER TO COMBAT POVERTY

The Embassy of the State of Kuwait, along with other Arab and foreign embassies in Canada, as well as Canadian firms and organizations, have participated in the 2010 annual event hosted by WaterCan (a gala fundraiser in support of clean water projects in eastern Africa).
The Kuwaiti Embassy’s pavilion has received many guests, over 600, who expressed their admiration of the Kuwaiti traditional dishes and desserts which were presented by the spouses of the Kuwaiti diplomats.
The Embassy has also presented some publications and gifts during the event which was both a celebration and a chance to help the less fortunate, and to help the World’s poorest people gain access to clean water and basic sanitation.
