In 2016, Forbes magazine published an article entitled: 4 Reasons to Visit Kuwait Now. The author, Janice Schacter Lintz, discussed her own trip to Kuwait. And, in the midst of it, she reveals that while there you can dine uninhibited, learn the culture, get a change of perspective, and sight see. She didn’t mention relaxing during your visit though. So, we are going to!
It’s true, you probably will not find a mobile day spa, like Signature Mobile, located in Canada. These lovely ladies, Karen Wilson and Carmen Ribeiro offer spa relaxation and luxury at your choice of locations. They even do spa parties and are licensed estheticians. And, since you might be missing their services while you are visiting Kuwait, we’ve created a list of great spas to choose from while you are there.
4 Spas Not to Miss While You Are in Kuwait
As exciting as traveling to new places is, it can also be stressful. It is no wonder that you might get off the plane wishing you could simply relax. You might desire a great massage, or a mani and pedi. But, since you are now in an entirely unfamiliar country, you will not know where to go. Good thing you have landed here. We have created a list of 4 spas not to miss while you are in Kuwait:
- Emmanuelle Ladies Beauty Salon & Spa– This is a full-service salon that covers all your relaxation and rejuvenation needs. And, their motto is: Let’s be stylish. They have been in business since December of 2008. You can add cosmetic procedures, make-up, and a host of other services to your experience. Feel free to visit their site before making an appointment.
- The Spa– Of course, if you have already booked your stay at the Hilton located in Kuwait, then you will have easy access to The Spa, which is located on site. They claim to be a “fresh oasis in the heat of the desert.” And, they are open seven days a week from 7am to 11pm. But, if you are smart, you will book between 9am and 1pm Sunday-Thursday because that is when they offer their special “ladies hours.”
- Talise Spa– Yet another hotel based spa, those staying in the Jumeirah have the joy of rejuvenating at the Talise Spa. Options there include: steam rooms, plunge pools, and infra-red saunas. They offer cabanas on the beach for massages, a “Secret Garden for outdoor Thai Massage,” and an Alphasphere sensory room (click this to learn more).
- Orchid Spa– Also located within a hotel, this spa can be found at the Palms Beach Club. They seem to have a larger focus on detoxification than the three previously listed spas do. This place is a “sanctuary” based on its own description. There are 60 different specialized spa treatments at your request. Members of the club receive a 20% discount on their treatments. Something to take note of though, this spa appears to only offer treatments for male clients. Or, at least that’s how the site reads.
We hope you will enjoy your trip to Kuwait to the fullness of your potential. And, we suspect, you will find greater enthusiasm for your time there after you have visited one of the spas we listed. By the way, you can read that Forbes article we mentioned in the intro by clicking this.
